Our story
Nalarasa is born from two Indonesian words: nalar (reason, logic, the way we think) and rasa (feeling, intuition, empathy). Neither stands in opposition to the other. Every human decision needs both.
Why we exist
Research that never reaches anyone helps no one
There is already a wealth of research in psychology and behavioral science that most people never get to benefit from, because it stays locked in academic literature. We build on that existing research and translate what is already known into tools that people can actually use day to day. We are early stage and we are building carefully.
Founder
Lizara Patriona
Lizara Patriona is the Founder and Director of PT Nalarasa Intervensi Digital. Her work sits at the meeting point of two practices: social intervention on the ground, and capacity building through assessment, training, and coaching.
At Universitas Indonesia she studied Psychology with a focus on Social Psychology and Industrial-Organizational Psychology. Those two focuses shaped everything that followed. In 2011 she founded GUIM to put social intervention to work in rural areas, and joined StudentsxCEOs to apply human resource development within the business sector.
Her career continued along those same two tracks for over a decade, before she built Nalarasa with the same intent: taking what already works in behavioral practice and making it usable by more people.
